The jobholder will be a part of the Asset Engineering Team and will be responsible for providing control engineering support for site operations, providing technical support to other disciplines within Asset teams and act as control and instrumentation technical authority within asset; reviewing, approving and providing engineering package for PMR; co-ordinating with vendors for material procurement or site services to execute PMR; leading & conducting optimization, troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking & feasibility studies related to control discipline either with internal resources or external sourcing; preparing and providing control input to Engineering packages for small packages (concept to commissioning) developed within Asset Engineering. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in B.Sc. Control & Instrument Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in oil & gas installations and be conversant with International codes & standards.
Based in Abu Dhabi this is a Contract Hire position for a period of one year.
